• Interesting mix of the mundane, and paranormal insinuation. Would it be as effective if it did not take place in Innsmouth or another familiar horror rooted place? This isn't so much an entry to mine for ideas but more of an exemplar of what can be done in ancillary materials to supplement your story/movie/game--as detailed at Inchoate Ascendant™. The best part about this example is the vagueness. Any number of scenarios could be involved in the events depicted--or rather the parts that are not described.
